And welcome to Sorong, gateway to the Raja Ampat Islands, and considered tolerably safe (a big plus for a relaxing holiday). Sorong means "Deep and Turbulent Seas" and the area is rich in tuna and shrimp.

Time to relax for the night. Tomorrow it's mountain country. I'll jump on the first Angkot I find and we'll see where we end up - hopefully a hotel.
