Kyushu
Nine Provinces
Our last official region of Japan: Kyushu. We'll sneak in one more unofficial one, but officially the Nine Provinces, the Nine Countries, West of the Pacified Area, the Island of Tsukushi, or the West Sea Circuit has been the last official region going south and east from a Japanese perspective. Also from the perspective of the Ryukyuan people which we'll get to later. It's all in where you think the boundary of Kyushu ends going south.
